The MSP-EXP430G2 Launch Pad also comes with 2 MSP430 devices, with up to 16kB Flash, 512B RAM, 16MHz CPU speed and integrated peripherals such as 8ch 10-bit ADC, timers, serial communication (UART, I2C & SPI) & more!

The MSP-EXP430F5529LP LaunchPad is an inexpensive, simple microcontroller development kit for the MSP430F5529 USB microcontroller. It’s an easy way to start developing on the MSP430 MCU, with an on-board emulation for programming and debugging, as well as buttons and LEDs for simple user interface.

Rapid prototyping is a snap, thanks to 40-pin BoosterPack expansion headers, as well as a wide range of available BoosterPack plug-in development board modules. You can quickly add features like wireless, displays, sensors, and much more. You can either design your own BoosterPack, or choose among many already available from TI and elsewhere. The 40-pin interface is compatible with any 20-pin Boo sterPack that is compliant with the standard.

The MSP-EXP430FR5969 Launch Pad development kit is an easy-to-use Evaluation Module for the MSP430FR5969 microcontroller. It contains everything needed to start developing on MSP430’s ULP FRAM platform, including on-board emulation for programming, debugging and Energy Measurements.

The board features on-board buttons and LEDs for quick integration of a simple user interface as well as a SuperCap allowing standalone applications without external power supply. Experimenter Kits

The MSP430F5438 Experimenter Board (MSP-EXP430F5438) is a microcontroller development for highly integrated, high performance MSP430F5438 MCUs. It features a 100-pin socket which supports the MSP430F5438A and other devices with similar pin out. The socket allows for quick upgrades to newer devices or quick applications changes. It is compatible with many TI low-power RF wireless development kits such as the CC2520EMK.

The Experimenter Board helps designers quickly learn and develop using the F5xx MCUs, which provide low power, more memory and leading integration for applications such as energy harvesting, wireless sensing and automatic metering infrastructure (AMI).

A TI Flash Emulation Tool, like the MSP-FET, is required to program and debug the MSP430 on the experimenter board.

Wireless Development Tools:

The eZ430-RF2500 is a complete wireless development tool for the MSP430 and CC2500 that includes all the hardware and software required to develop an entire wireless project with the MSP430 in a convenient USB stick. The tool includes a USB-powered emulator to program and debug your application in-system and two 2.4-GHz wireless target boards featuring the highly integrated MSP430F2274 ultra-low-power MCU. Projects may be developed and instantly deployed using the included battery expansion board and AAA batteries. All the required software is included such as a complete Integrated Development Environment and SimpliciTI, a propriety low-power star network stack, enabling robust wireless networks out of the box.

The eZ430-RF2500 uses the MSP430F22x4 which combines 16-MIPS performance with a 200-ksps 10-bit ADC and 2 op-amps and is paired with the CC2500 multi-channel RF transceiver designed for low-power wireless applications.

The eZ430-RF2500-SEH is a complete Solar Energy Harvesting development kit to help create a perpetually powered wireless sensor network based on the ultra-low-power MSP430 microcontroller.

The Solar Energy Harvester module includes a high-efficiency solar (2.25x2.25") panel optimized for operating indoors under low-intensity fluorescent lights, which provides enough power to run a wireless sensor application with no additional batteries. Inputs are also available for external energy harvesters such as thermal, piezoelectric, or another solar panel.

The eZ430-RF2500 is used to run the energy harvesting application. It is a complete USB-based MSP430 wireless development tool and provides all the hardware and software necessary to use the MSP430F2274 microcontroller and CC2500 2.4-GHz wireless transceiver. It includes a USB debugging interface that allows for real-time, in-system debugging and programming for the MSP430, and it is also the interface to transfer data to a PC from your wireless system.
